I didn't say no and I'm not overly concerned with the future of the car after the challenge. That and I've always wanted to do a parking lot build off.
In reply to Andy Neuman:
Ive always wanted to cut the roof off something. Sounds like a match made in heaven.
In reply to Dusterbd13:
You two should get a room together.
In reply to Stampie:
Nah. Not worth the divorce.

This is how the list looks
John Welsh – Spokesman (Offical Q45 consultant).
Mr. Stampie – Team motivator.
Patrick G – Nitrous consultant.
Jeremy – Offical Enabler
In the year of the Aristocrats there were silver platters and titles of nobility to be awarded to category winners and the overall winner. Other than the title of The Duke of Dragway which went to Jeremy all the other titles went to me including the prestigious Overall winner title of The Baron of Berkeley (The overload of all that is F'ed).
But hey, Spokesman is okay too!
Tools for today's progress.
Drag tires are tall if my new brake calipers ever arrive I'll set it down to see if it will work. Ignore my terrible cutting skills, the flares cover my lack of skills. Also compared the Drag tires to my Hoosiers width and height.
Did you already convert to truck?
In reply to Dusterbd13:
That's just a photo rendering of what it could possibly look like if you chopped the roof off.
^you not me
In reply to Andy Neuman:
Trailer, drive, or fly home?
Andy has a trailer. Cut away after he goes to sleep
It is an open trailer so I can't lock it away from you.
In reply Dusterbd13:
If you really want to help turn it into a truck in the parking lot PM me and we can email about details. Like how much room is left in the budget. What kind of resources I have to make this happen, what hurdles we will face and other things.
I kinda want to help but I'm not responsible for anything adult beverages makes me do.
In reply to Stampie :
What's the worst that could happen? I get 12 points for my concourse score.
In reply to Dusterbd13 :
got it I'll give you a call sometime Sunday.
Awsome. Deleted the post. Talk to you Sunday.
Car update new $30 brake calipers that included new pads are on. Just need to bleed the brakes.
Memories from 2014, the garage was clean and had all challenge eligible cars.
Lots of help from Willis today, welded the doors shut and made the back window and bled the brakes for the last time. Not the actual wheels for the event. Paint, windows and tonneau to be completed soon. Nitrous? Not sure I'll have time.
Picked up cardstock and glue sticks on the way home for the fiancé.
Awesome!
Any luck with the engine (guess I need to check the other thread)?
What are the dimensions of those wheels again?
In reply to sleepyhead :
The orange wheels are 17x8 with 245 section width tires. The white wheels I'm using are 17x9-10.5 with 295/335 Hoosiers.
Thanks, not being "naturally mustang"... I'm a bit behind on my wheel spec memorization
