The project is progressing quickly. Really lacking sleep now that my wife is back to work.

Not if I have to use FMV for all the stuff I got for free.
Signing him up for some metal fabrication classes soon so he can contribute to the team.

Realized the 4l80 is 3" shorter than the t56 normally used in a RX7 swap. I'll just find a challenge budget t56.
Currently I've misplaced the driveshaft to differential bolts. Do not want to pay for new ones.
Ones from a miata are the same iirc.
It gets better when they hit about 2, unless your wife is like mine and says they would be lonely as an only child...

it's only my second dodge product. Still getting used to the slow steering of the minivan. There is a tight uphill on the way to work in the mustang I was able to take it at 27mph and now I'm down to 16.
Trying to sell the wife on a cheaper fun car Miata, FRS, or C5 or letting me spend real money on the RX7.
She is mean and says things like the RX7 isn't a cool car. I guess being born in 1990 makes her not appreciate 80s styling.
van only arrived with one valve stem cap bets on how long it'll take my wife to notice

sold the mustang so we really won't be friends... Thinking about it the mustang was cheaper to own per year than building new challenge cars every year.

Looks good! I heavily considered this bracket, but the ICT one i got on sale was cheaper at the time lol. Your engine bay looks substantially better than mine.
Installed my transmission crossmember. Slow but still progress. Should start to have a little time to get back to work on the car.
Dude. You should bring this down next year for the parking lot build and we'll finish it for ya in a day.

I'm getting closer to the point where I can decide what parts are actually in budget and can stay on the car. Was trying to compile all my receipts this week.
I'm also working on removing the dash, every plastic piece has shattered into a million pieces as I take it off.
I'm a lot closer than Stampie thinks I am to being ready to start the car.
Link or price for that bracketry. I'm going with electric power steering for my swap. Or is there a grassroots way to delete the power steering pump?
In reply to Scotty Con Queso :
Jonathan used this alternator bracket in his RX7
I used this alternator bracket

i looped the lines on my rack and "depowered" it. I plan to see how the volvo electric power steering pump works out for me soon. lack of power steering made it a bear to autox. it did well, but quick transitions were difficult
