This car was a freebee I received along with the 406 challenge engine I had in the S10.
It is a, non sunroof hardtop, manual, Z28 car. No interior or drivetrain in it, craptastic paint and all.
Free is good.
Off getting a cage from John Mills in Fostoria

We have sourced a couple of T5s, I have a couple of 350 SBC engines around, and a 9 bolt rear.

Joo sonofab!tch. I hate you for this.
You'll hate me more after seeing the other one

I was gonna hit you up for some parts, now I'll be asking for seat time!
More cage pics, good progress

that's the one you got to a minute before i did a while back, isn't it? i was sore about that for a while
Cage is about done, looking strong, another John Mills Racing job.

Pat, this one came from Chicago a while back. From a GRMer.
I have kind of a silly question. Can you get around 17-19 mpg city in a 3rd gen Camaro with a fuel injected 406ci? I was thinking that I would modify an LT1 intake manifold or use an aftermarket one like that for a good price. It would be interesting for me to do if it's possible.
Aussie Steve --- Funding John Mills' 2015 Trans-Am season, one cage at a time...

Not silly, but it depends..
Overdrive? Rear end ratio? Horsepower? torque? Weight? They all count towards mpg, not to mention the weight of the appendage on the end of your right leg.
I have a T-56 with a 3.08 rear end that I would switch out with a 3.42 ratio when I need more acceleration. I don't have a lead foot and I have taken out maybe 50-80lbs from the car.
Oh, and good find on a free car, even if it's just the chassis. Many people want to sell these for $1500-2000 when they're not worth that much, especially since most of them are at least a little beat up.
Picked it up and back for a drivetrain
