Yeah. Those are pretty slick. They have a lot of fun stuff there. I miss my trips to the KL breaker yards and auto salons.
I'm probable going to go with these: https://www.verus-engineering.com/shop/jc6-hood-louver-kit-1884?category=68#attr=89
Just need to measure it out and see if that is a good size for the hood.
Front end alignment and wheel balancing to correct some lil issues :)
Took it out for C&C. Now home in the new garage
You are winning at life. Impressive in every way.
Buffed the whole car and took it to a car show and c&c.
Impressive project, great work and looks fantastic!
Heard a noise 2 weeks ago, got it home fine and parked it. Its a clanging noise when pushing clutch all the way in.
I got the Talon on the road, swapped cars, and pulled the trans out :). This is trans #7 and its lasted about 3 years now. It now appears toast inside LOL.
The clutch was all new in 2016. It survived a bad clutch fork finger explosion and im happy to report that it didnt trash everything inside on this time either.
Im now in winter build mode, and this car will be going auto and paddles (as long as i dont give up and i do it correctly 😆)
I guess I should knock on wood or add more power as I've ran my Mirage on the track a ton over the last 2 years and my transmission has looked great.
Just pulled it apart to refresh the LSD plates and was very happy with how it looked inside.
I've thought more than once on Auto and flappy paddles for consistency. What controller setup are you using?

Over 300whp level they just dont hold long, and they were all 100-150-200k miles on them. And totally stock. The trans blows before the clutch does lol. My turbo makes a LOT of midrange Tq. Before the redo i dynoed @ 371whp,353wtq. Its just fun and the trans were $125-250 for a long long time.
I will be using a forced four shift box and either evo x or a maxima style paddle setup
Ok so.......i have to do waht I normally do.....put things in this car that aint neva been in there before. There is no manual for this feature. Theres no how-to. Imma just do it, somehow.
6 bolt motor, 2g AUTO trans, in a 4g Mirage.
Letuce began:
And i need to use a tq arm to the rear roll stop mount since the 2g is way above the mirage.....
GOOGLE-FU! I actually found one! Old blue drag car was redone to auto awd.
