Hi Everybody,
My project car has an L24e engine* from a Maxima, but the intake has been replaced with the dual side draft carb intake from a 240z. I now want to get that engine running.
I've been looking at the updates for the Classic Motorsports 240z project car.
Classic Motorsports said: While we are pleased with our Magnecor plug ignition wires and PerTronix ignition
I'm not sure, though, what was used for the distributor. Does anybody out there have an idea what was used?
More importantly, Is anyone willing to offer advice on how to spark to the engine? Would you go with a Pertronix? ...an MSD 6AL? I just need ideas here how you folks would set things up.
Caution: I sometimes bang on metal with hammers, but I know absolutely nothing about making cars move. Please be patient with me and use many small words to make sure that I understand you.

[*] - Yes, this is for the 1932 Datsun replica. It sat for three years without being worked on, but now I've decided it is better to put get the car on the road than to have it sit in the garage hoping I can figure out how to DIY it.
