Awesome thread. Lots of good info here. Is 29 PSI your hot tire pressure? I'm on a 2023 RS3 with V730s (265 35 19s) and I'm trying to figure out my pressures as well.

I also saw your post on coding changes for the GTI. Is there a good resource for that? I got an OBDEleven (New RS3 has "SFD protection", so this is the only thing that works right now) and I'm trying to figure out what tweaks I should make for track driving.

Yes 29psi hot. My procedure is to set pressure right after coming back to grid FWIW. On a 19in wheel or without added camber I'd expect to need more pressure than that personally. Start at 35 for a few runs, drop to 30 and reassess which direction feels better.

Can't help on the RS3 specifically, but Peter at https://www.529innovations.com/ would be the resource for any coding changes on that platform. For the GTI/R, you can search for "MK7 HPDE track adaptations" and that should turn up some results. Bear in mind a lot of changes people make are not methodically verified and should be approached with caution.

Otherwise just doing prep for VIR next weekend - put the 245s back up front, oil+filter change, and widdling away at some tune adjustments to make sure it's good to go on track.

Will swap the track pads on mid-week and pack everything up then.
