Our buddies at Discount Tire are in the process of building a serious Jeep to help service other off-roaders that get into trouble in places like Moab. Pretty cool build, even if it doesn't dodge cones......it crushes them!

As much as they have changed I'm not sure why they started with a 'complete' production vehicle.

Typically smaller vehicles are better for wheeling to get through tight areas, but I guess in the desert you want wheelbase and girth compared to here in the forests of Michigan.

Yep in the desert you don't have to squeeze between trees, and width improves stability.

Screw being rescued in Moab. Just make sure you take your mountain bike(s) on the back of the truck and when you get stuck, turn those lemons into the best lemonade you've ever had!
