Completely missed that the engine was bright lime green.  More pics of the engine bay please.

This thing is so rad, haha.  I love the paint and wouldn't ever touch it. 

Yes, someone painted it green, a lot of effort to paint the boittom of the airbox and not the top, lol.  also there is probably a thousand dollars in platic wire tubing in this car.

We plan on keeping the paint job as long as possible.

Pulled this Alpine 6 disk changer out of the glove box.  Took it apart to see the musical taste of whoever put it in there, but alas, no CDs in it.

I got a snap chat update from my wife, Max has pulled the seats out.

The plan is to make "shop chairs" out of them.  I wonder what the going rate of 944 seats in good condition is?

Me realizing the 944 is now 40 years old....and realizing I got mine when it was only 23 years old....

Sold the gti, fist person to come had a handful of Benjamin's.

Anyone want to buy a 944 2.5 motor? Neads head gasket and probably the timing belt, and everything else. Seriously, we are gunna try and sell this motor.

FYI on the leak behind the seats - it's usually the sunroof seals/drains that are clogged causing the puddle behind the seats.

we pulled 4 speakers out of the car, and only two of them matched.

We pulled a mile of brightly colored cable covers out

Pulled the center console, we will make a custom one with some of the original gauges and some new gauges

Also, we may or may not have ordered a V8 swap kit, and we are contacting Todd's friend in Texas who is a hot rod shop guy who may or may not already have an LS3.

I LSx swapped my 951.  I'd never do it again, not in a million years.

I built an LS6 944 back in 07/08, and that thing was an animal.  400whp/400tq and right at 27xxlb.  It's still floating around the midwest somewhere, running 11s and pissing off the purists.  

During lunch I hung an old 32 inch TV with a chromecast and an hdmi cable up.

Also hung the third led light.

This is incredible. All of it. 

I am all for hood murals, especially ones that look like Trogdor's jacked uncle that smokes Winstons, pounds Old Style cans by the case, and shows the neighborhood kids how to make homemade explosives. 

And that shade of neon green is standard on extremely questionable modified cars. Ford, Chevy, Mopar, or Import, they all share that trait.

How?  Crankcase vent.

So, according to my research this is actually common for 944s, huh, today I learned.....

1) BAD blow-by, AOS can't even deal with the misting and it is sucking it right through the AOS.
2) Filling the engine with oil too fast. 

If it is dirty oil, it is number one, and if it is clean oil it is number two.  For our car it is gross, so it is number one.  

Having trouble getting the carpet glue off the floor.  Thinking of renting a dry ice blaster, but at $500 a day, is there a grm method I don't know about?

Tried white vinegar and water, but no luck with that.
