I don't think you're going to get 3k for it now. Maybe in the spring, if you're very lucky.


Did you figure out attaching your fenders? I used one of these generic "engine bay dress up" kits to get cheap bolts Like this

 

It worked pretty well - I think I ordered 2 because I had a bunch of other stuff I wanted to use them for, but that should be a start.

No, they're still ziptied on. The inner fender liners had bits that attached everything, and I lost those when I painted. I've been thinking lately about printing out something to hold it together a little better. 

Honestly since the autocross in October it's just been sitting. I'll fire it up and move it around the driveway or out of my way, but I really haven't given it a second glance. Everything went broken at the end of convertible season so it just got benched. 

Obviously it will get cleaned up somewhat and pass inspection before I officially put it on the market, just trying to get an idea how much of a bath I'm going to take on it. I really should try wet sanding it as well, might make a big difference.

Ohhhh, the little brackets? I had to get those from Mazda. Or if you mean the clips for the inner fender liners themselves - well - there I can't help you, because I used zipties!

3k might not be out of the question if you clean it up and get it running well, but I'd think that cleaning up the paint is probably going to get you the most return. I don't know what the market will support for a car that you painted in your carport but it will be less than an original paint car.
