Currently own an S2000. Toying with building a FFR Mark IV; not the Challenge version. I like the rumble of a V8 and the look of a Cobra. But, aside from Dave Smith testimonials, I have not found any reviews that speak to the handling of the MIV. Old reviews of MII and MIII confirm that acceleration is there, but pan the vehicle for real world driving. Finally, I am not willing to give up handling (love the S2K) for a fast pig.
Keep the S or build a MIV?
You can absolutely make them handle, but SCCA classing isn't super friendly.
Here's me in a FFR Daytona Coupe.

Nice runs. How did your times compare to other cars?

I won't talk about my times, since there are better drivers out there. The cars are totally capable of FTD at local events, even in street trim. You won't win XP at Nationals, but you will have a really good time.
