That can't possibly be a Michigan Mazda. Those quarters are far too quartery.

I also acquired a 2002 Civic today, I think it was a birthday gift from a friend.

Pretty clean.

Seller says it has a control arm problem, I would agree.  It's not connected anymore.

It's on the lift , details coming soon.

Yes, gray on gray on a gray day is pretty unmemorable!

But, this sure does look like a great commuter or student car.  Actually, a great bank robbery car.  Eye witness accounts will be all over the place.

Hey, I do need to put a few more kids through college.

Yeah,

they sauntered off at a reasonable speed in a car, colorless and without distinction.

Wait, what, Damn it Mazda, need to drop the subframe to install a control arm bolt?

Ha! Take that, all fasteners spun right out.

This car has no business living in Michigan.

Some CAD, some steel, some sparks and it will have more than it left the factory with.

Mazda loves captive inaccessible nuts, this plate will get one then covered up, just like the other side.  I also added some structure behind the control arm where no one will ever see just for good measure.
