This isn't my project but I thought it would fit right in here - a fellow in the UK is putting the body from an old Ford 100e on top of a Miata chassis, and is posting his progress videos on Youtube. https://www.youtube.com/user/urchfab/videos Should be a cool little car when he's done.
Good news is he will be pleasantly surprised when the wheelbases turn out to be 2" off rather than the 5" he calculated. Where he got 92" for the Miata wheelbase I cant figure.
Should actually be a relatively simple job.
Neat. I'm going follow that. I got a 57 that I can't figure out what I want to do with it. I've seen one swapped onto a Subaru chassis. I was leaning towards gasser on mine.
