Well...anyway. I have 16N these days. The fist one I got (the one in this thread) is in need of a major overhaul...but we just keep using it instead.
A couple years after this one I got another one (painted blue and gray instead of red and gray). It's a little nicer and more functional. Not long after I got it the oil pump pickup fell off and I ended up putting new crank and rod bearings in it (and a new oil pump pickup) and it's been running like a champ since.
I actually found a deal on a Ford 2000. I only have 2 acres, and some woods beside me, so don't really need it; but after playing with it, I don't think I could go back to an 8N.
As said, more than I really need, but every car guy should get to play with an old tractor!
(glad the canoe salesman bought this back from the dead!)
