Ad was online for about 31 minutes. Was able to snag it. Local car. 1 owner. Bone stock. Mall crawler. Owner has 32 cars, and barn full of cool builds (in Malibu no less)
Paid $7,000
SUNROOF WORKS (well for today), as you know on the 100 sunroof never works and is a 1500+ fix.
Been looking for a 100 as a driver for a while (have a 07 LC in the stable for a long time, sub 15K miles).
Everyone I looked around, either overpriced, modded to death, or seller says "no rust" and rusty as heck.
When this popped up (in the ugliest of color - what can I say), had to jump on it. I would have preferred brown, cream, thundercloud, or black cherry. But as we know condition is everything.
Taking delivery in 1 hour.
Just excited for a new project. Tbelt done, all locks/windows work, drove fantastic. AC/heat cold works fantastic.

Need some pics!
I posted 3 from last night. Not showing up?
Issues:
- Hate the rear wiper sag. Gotta fix that
- Throw away side steps
- Steering wheel has some cracks (from sun)
- Remove rear dust spoiler and front spoiler
- Paint on one door (rear pass) clear code fade. Rest of truck no issues.
- Go through all records, and baseline if needed
- Decide on best lift and tire options (we have a farm in Joshua Tree and are up in Montana quite a bit - though we have a 200 up there)
Just enjoy her and drive. Only one I found, with no rips and tears on the seats. It is original (never redone) Was fully covered. But interior will need a scrub and detail, which I am happy to do.
Almost had given up my search, and was looking at the GX for a while. Glad I found this, and can stay in the LC fam. I don't need a Prado.

In reply to MiniDave :
100 series of the Land Cruiser.
That's a decent deal for any LC that's not rusted away really. Nice that it has a hitch too.

Yeah I will be using the hitch for the Polaris for sure. They have never used it. Dealer installed.
If you want to think about the lift for a bit you can always install some spacers on the rear and crank the torsion bars in the front for a small lift. Make sure you clear the sunroof drains and check the heater Ts.

Yeah Heater Tee is a must. Will check the sunroof drains when I get home. I will need to look at some OME stuff and slee diff drop. But probably a month down the line on that.
When I do the lift, won't be anything crazy. Probably 2-3ish.. give or take. I need to preserve how great it drives, and most of it is on trails (no rock crawling - I use my FJC for that)
I had the spacer lift on mine for about a year, as long as you don't crank the front too much it rides almost like stock. Crank them too much and the front gets bouncy. I ran 33s on mine like this with no issues.
Awesome. How much did you get from the spacer lift. 33s are all I need on it.
I did the Slee 30mm rear spacer

Color me jelly, that looks like a great buy (especially compared to the pile that is my LX470)
Quick Wash and time for AAA transfer

That's basically my old 2000 Tundra wearing an SUV dress, isn't it? That interior sure looks familiar.
It was a nice truck :) Congrats!

Thank you kindly.
As someone who grew up on LC and have too many of them, most of us wouldnt put the LC and Tundra in the same sentence.
Then again, as much I adore you, and have CRX, Caddy, Miata - and too many garage similarities as you (though I don't have your money or looks), I will take any compliment from you, my friend.
Hope all is well, and have a nice weekend.
Nice find, that looks pretty mint, let alone for the price!

It wasn't meant as a diss of the Hundy, it was more of a realization when I saw the interior shots :) It WAS a nice truck, and when I look at the specs I think there's a lot in common underneath. I can see why people like 'em.
