After a generous application of lube, it's no surprise that the shaft slipped into the hole much easier the second time.
By now, I was on my back with both hands moving at a furious pace, and the video crew had gone home for the day, so there are no photos of what happened next.
Suffice it to say that all the parts went exactly where they were supposed to, although I will admit to quite a bit of dirty talk before it was all over.
At this point, I flipped her over, cleaned her up, and treated her to something shiny.

I'm happy to say that everything is still working, just like it did back in the Old Days.
And by this time tomorrow, I'll be basking in the aftermow.
