Car runs!!!! It rained all weekend. No test drive yet.

I buffed it up more. Back end buff n blend came out lovely. Rear cargo area buttoned up. 

Just popping in to see how progress is going–looks like all is well so far.

Car rips! Did some pulls, was 10.0 rich. I pulled out fuel, we mid 11's now, 32lbs min so we 300whp level with the 14b on like 22psi. Anxiety turned into smiles :)

The gas tank is pressurizing so im betting the stupid check valve line is pinched or something. Ya know, dsm things. ETA: found the pressurized vent line, wasnt venting to the front. Ill get this fixed upppp.

ETA: unhooked the pressure release valve line and it all came out so i have to clean out the line and the filter at the front. But it no longer keeps pressure in. Woooohoooo tank job is good to go. 

Ok guys, im gonna take a break with this one here, just needs an alignment and final tuning for the season. 

I just swapped cars and dropped the trans in the Summit. Thats my focus now :)

Waiting on a part for the Summit, i been cleaning up things and driving the talon a bit. Put my spare screen in, cleaned out the center console and cupholder and ashtray. It needed it.

Got it aligned. Theres 2.3° on DS and 1.9° on the PS so its a lil off. Ill work on that. The steering wheel wasnt totally straight and it pulled to the right a bit so i am doing a tweak after finding the pass side was toed in a bit. Kinda annoyed but whatever, ill make the best if it. Back end feels way better tho. Cant fault the guy totally if he said it would pull from the camber issue. 

I got new speakers, old ones were um.....a bit worn out LOL.

Loving everything about this build!! 

I have an oil leak in the DSM spot. Above the oil filter area. Its somewhere. I blasted the area with brake clean and im watching it. Only a few drops on shut down.......it doesnt look like front main, and the belt is dry. I drove it for 40min, all backroads, getting into boost a lottttt. VC leak has subsided a lot. So now its just normal dsm leak things. Also, the car will be in Lancaster for C&C at the lexus dealer and urban werks....gor it ready just in time for  making some end of season shows, which was the goal!

Also, the spare 16g turbo is all apart at Justins, and he finally got the wheel in......we making a billet FP Green style 20 or 25g....thing lol. Might be wild. Insaid id like to hit 500whp with it as a goal and then drive around at 400s level. That's usually the semi reliable area. I might hate it. I dunno. We gonna get weird and see how it goes.

Wiped the car down, cleaned the wheels, and started buffing. Got the drivers side all shined up. It just keeps improving. 

Car cruise ins on sunday, im ramping up the paint work again!

battery bracket came in and i restored that, and made spacer blocks for the mk5 VW gold battery i was given

Dang that car is sharp

Made it to 2 Cars & Coffees, did a ton of pulls, car did great. Went to brunch and cruised 45min home. 347 mi on the resto job so far. 

Winter plans: 

-D/S camber adjust to fix pulling right issues

-oil leak fix

-I'd like to get a new muffler on it soon

-look at it a bunch and smile

Future plans for 2025:

-new oem style exhaust mani install, after porting to 60mm on the mill. 

-20g turbo install

-3" 02 and downpipe with vband @02 and at all bolt on flange connections.

-snow stage 1 meth inj install 

-re-tune and enjoy it

Gotta raise the garage door up, but holy crap the lift is in. Kind of a pita but its good now.
