Unknown on exterior gouging.
For the crack, i scuffed with 80 grit, wiped with laquer thinner, jigged it with clamps and zipties, and used plastic epoxy. Its what art taught me with grilles, so i assumed it was good here.
And, 19.8 mpg last tank.

no codes?
I think this will be BEAUTIFUL.
The z06 wheels looked like ass. So i traded bare wheels for a full set of sawblades with fair tires. Ill use my machined adapters and probably roll the fenders.
Im really digging the look.
With the large hub bore of the e39, not many wheels will fit. Vette wheels ain't even close. But with the machined adapters i think we will be good.
Ill be the first to do something uet again.
Ill torque them tomorrow and turn it around to put the other two on. Something i ate for lunch didn't agree with me....
Anyone interested in this at break even price? I like it, but just haven't really connected with it and its time to reduce the fleet of extras.
I shouldn't have opened this thread this morning .
I wonder if the color and the fact that it's a wagon outweighs the fact that it's a BMW for swmbo...
3500ish
(Ive got right at 3600 in it, but 3500ish sounds reasonable. Maybe even be more negotiable.....)

Thanks! I'm going to be taking the next week or so to get it all cleaned up and shined up and buffed out and ready to go for the next guy before really trying to sell it. I made the decision for it to leave the stable this morning, and posted it up in this thread first. I'd love to see it continue on in the grm family
God has a sense of humor.
I decided to sell this, and the first gen mazda 6, in the right colors and options, goes up for sale near me at way less than normal price around here for running examples in that mileage range.
Now i just need this to go away. Its Christmas time, which means nothing is selling though....
