Dropped the little D16 into the minor frame just now.fits lovely

Next to make the permanent mounts( all factory mounts) and a few other little items to make it run

The efi has been sorted out, harness de and re pinned to trim it back...the ford ecm and system is sooooo much simpler than the the honda...and with no vtec to worry about its just peachy

I'm so happy this build is being documented here.  I was worried it was just going to disappear into goneness.

Ive spent a lot of time on little jobs, subsystems etc...so its getting closer to be an assembly job with all the enginoodling and fabricobbling done already.going to cut the axles shortly then put the spindle strut combos in and see how much needs to be emshortened

In reply to nocones :

If you had any idea of how many projects Pete has in the air at one time you would understand why there is no coherent build thread.

Of the top of my head, he is working on

1-Volvo 740 Wagon with the supercharged 4 valve 4.6 mod engine

2-Honda powered Rampage

3-Mod engine into a Ford pickup to replace the 351

4-The Tupperware party 29 Ford Model A

5-This Mollis Minol

And those are just the ones in this immediate neighborhood. I cant keep track of what else he is doing.

Its a jewel inside. The quality of everything in there is top notch, so well built compared to what you find in old school small blocks and such
