headlights are almost fixed. Waiting for epoxy to dry.
Mike I see two things I might Change on the Radiator Hose/ sending unit.
Can the Hose be moved to the Outside of the bracket, allowing the use of the second hole/Lower the hose.
You might turn the sending unit Down to ensure water is Touching it, not likely that Boiling water wouldn't Splatter on it showing High Temps but if Just hot Air is touching it, it will show Cool.
Am I the only one wondering why you're fooling with headlights instead of posting videos of maaad skids (with Aussie accent) where you shred tires like Ken Block?

The bracjet will get remade. Im just not happy with it. But ud been using the sender as a bleeder for the cooling system. But putting it on the bottom or side to eliminate the possibility of an air pocket not giving me warning is a good idea.
Jim: its raining. And im trying to get the entire list checked off before the February test and tune. Its almost tgere.....
Ha, this is why I don't post about all of my vehicle stuff going on, because I might feel even worse when things stay not done.
No worries!
I have a problem with leaving things that only somewhat work far longer than i should. As evidenced by the upper hose bracket i haven't messed with....
Sure, but you should clean it first. Its filthy.
And Iapparently reassembled reassembled the clutch master wrong. Came apart wheni went to go for a good long test drive....
Umm....
I messed with the clutch master Sunday. But neons, shop work, wifes minivan, and friends have taken most of the available time ive had for the last couple of weeks.
Got the clutch master back together and installed today. Bled it as well. We have a clutch again!
Now if it would stop raining.....
I may be cursing myself, but its supposed to be sunny and dry all day here. I have time to flex out.....
Is that radiator overflow pressurized or just a catch? Engine bay would look a lot cleaner if you had a smaller overflow tucked up next to the radiator. Budget and all, but.......
Its not pressurized. But it does recirculate to the radiator.
I may need to keep my eyes open now that you mention it.....
Depending on the volume that it pushes out, you just need something with the hose run all the way to the bottom and it will still suck the overflow fluid back up when it cools. Probably not a huge deal, but it's a long time until the Challenge and that's really the only thing that sticks out to me in the engine bay. Other than the whole engine swap thing.
Rev limiter comes way too quick in 1st, second, and third.
Its LOUD AS berkeleyING NUCLEAR HOLOCAUST
brakes and alignment need some more work
Its fast. Like legitimately fast.
And i need to figure out how to use my gopro knockoff.
I may also need a napkin.
4.7 miles. More drive time than the amc had AFTER the challenge. Its good. Really, REALLY good.
Hell yeah! Does it scare you a bit? I feel like we're building similarly fast, similarly constructed, similarly frightening cars. And mine scares the crap out of me on the street.
Not really. Its a lot like the duster. Loud, noisy, and visceral. It wants to hurt you. But if you keep your head straight, it does what you think it should. So far.

That last 10% is what always gets me. I am notorious for getting a project 90% of the way there and then stopping
