My Mom's fondness for the C900 developed when she and Dad were in Europe back in 19whatever and their rental was a 900. Through some sort of series of events they wound up stuck somewhere because of weather and discovered that the seats reclined all the way and were able to get a decent night's sleep. Between that and the hatch, that would so doable! I wonder if one of those SUV tailgate tent things could be made to work

My wife and I used to sleep in the hatch of my '90 900S 3 door at Carlisle every year. It is very doable, even at 5ft11. And those rear hatch tents absolutely work.
That's the smile of a guy that appreciates the road less traveled. Congrats to the world of NOT jelly bean & cookie cutter cars. =~ )

As for sleeping in it, the only thing he could do to make the car more unique is find/import a Toppola:
