They need skid marks.

Grrrrr, starter turns the engine barely faster than i can turn it with a 1/2" ratchet, and the starter is getting hot. Below are my five Y's:
Yes, battery is fully charged.
Yes, all B+ and B- connections are secure.
Yes, I'm going to disassemble and inspect starter.
Yes, I've already ordered another starter.
Yes, my long-term solution is to space out the adapter plate and flywheel, so i can go back to using the LT1 flexplate and starter.
How much torque does it take to rotate the engine? If the starter is getting hot, it's processing current.

With my 3/8" drive clicker that measures 5-75 ft lbs:
Plugs in: 35-55 ft lbs
Plugs out: 25-30 ft-lbs
Measurement method isn't perfect, but it's what I can do.

Much like the National Enquirer, angry is good at taking pictures that lead you to think certain things are true that may or may not actually be and then giving you information and lack of information to support whatever you choose

True.
Angry seems to prefer constantly swapping out rod bearings and wrenching to actual racing. so.... The LS swap is probably just a big tease 😔

I was trying so hard to not flinch, and it got me every time!

Not because of MonZora. 2025 I'm going to support Quasi Mofosports, the PLB, and just generally enjoy the event. MonZora will return in 2026 with a few refinements and (I hope) a lot of test and tune.

Man, am I the only one that was really worried about a big intake ball of fire?

Congrats!

Is it flinching or a nervous twitch?
