I bought a Saab 900 new in 1986, loved it for 180k miles. I finally bit the bullet and found another one, unfortunately I already cut the deal when O2Pilot's 900 came up. My son has owned four Saabs and kept wanting mine, no, no, no; so he bought O2's. Nice car, he will be posting a build on it.
Found my 900s in Mt. Kisco at a shop where he's the only Saab guy around for a 60 mile radius.
I drove it around CT for a weekend and then 200 miles north to home, ran well, cruise control doesn't work but got 26 mpg. The gas gage doesn't work either. When I went to pick it up, the seller was in a panic because it didn't run tight, turned out to be a fuel pump, He had one for a 9000 but the sender is kaput. Ian donated the three spoke 9000 wheels (6.5 X 16 vs 5.5 X 15) in exchange for the sunburst on my car plus another set with snow tires.
Put it on a lift at my buddy's shop, looked good. One bolt at the front of the Cat is rotted off and the other two are sketchy, little rot where the lower control arm meets the frame, but I need something to do this winter. =~ )
Suggestions appreciated.

Saab, notorious for not having cup holders hence the roll of duct tape.
Oh, and here's a teaser on Ian's build of O2Pilots former 1989 900s.
So far it's an absolute blast to drive!
The 16" Aero's were swapped over the weekend with a set of 15" Aero2's from a 92' 900 Turbo convertible.
New tires inbound, along with a new ignition switch. Build thread coming soon...

You already know I love it. I'm glad that both of these landed in good hands. The dead cruise control is probably the pedal switch(es) and/or a vacuum leak. Should be easy enough to sort out. If you haven't already, grab the Bentley manual.
Thanx, there's a rattle, like a loose tin plate, up under the pedal swing set.
Well, started on the laundry list of 10 minute jobs. Small exhaust leak, clay bar the body, trying to get moisture back into the leather seats, can't figure out why the rear speakers are scratchy, but the wheels cleaned up well.
I always think of Satch Carlson or Erik Carlsson. What would they change?
Another 10 minute job off the list. Since I'm not using the ashtray anyway, got an $11 90* plastic housing for mounting gages atop the dash. Ashtray is tilted 45* so the face of the gages look right up at me.
