best picture of the fisheye and peel i could take.
But its good enough for who its for.
Thread Jack warning! I'm really pissed at Motor Trend for taking their good shows off YouTube and making you pay for them. Yeah, yeah, capitalism, blah, blah. It reminds me of when Metallica cut their hair and started bitching about people sharing their music on Napster........

Im missing this one. Maybe its still early, or maybe ive spent too much time under a rock .....
Damnit Duster, you're thread is making me want a Neon too. BTW with all the specialty parts you've found and hoarded, what else would you need for your "perfect" Neon?
22mm rear sway bar, paint, and the instrument cluster that swaps the speedo and tach around so the tach is centered. Im also hunting for a good gauge solution (period correct) and the right wheels. Then, ill have the "perfect " period correct acr.
chipping away at it.
But, the power steering pump pulley hits the core support. Apparently i didn't push the accident damage out enough. Thinking about fixes....
But ill probably just cut a hole for clearance. Its easy, and this is not the car i want to own.
Maybe I'm dense, but what accident damage? Scrolled back, and this white one looked to be in decent shape. It appeared everything fit before.
Keep chipping away, you're getting there.
Hope Mom is feeling better.
Mom comes home today. Again.
This one took a hit in the right front corner at some point, tweaking the core support. It was fine with the 2.0, and only noticed due to gaps and a different shade of white on the fender. Hood don't line up quite right. So before the rattle can job, i used a scissors jack and a 2x4 to push the core support back into place. However the headlight bucket apparently came back toward the firewall as well. The 2.4 pushes the power steering pump and ac compressor out towards the core support 1/2 inch or so. So, normally theres no problem. Here, there was.
I see said the blind man. Would a come along and some chain help? Then again cutting may be the easy way.
Again, Mom is in my prayers.
Just fixed the power steering pump clearance issues with a large 2x4 and a lack of give a crap.
Got about 3/8 clearance now. Should be good.
Notching for ac compressor clearance is next.
It ran for about 30 seconds.
Im calling it a huge freaking win.
Time to clean up shop and make a list.
Fired right up this morning. Im calling it success. Dont know if anything else works yet, but it starts and idles easily.
Im on the road all morning for work, and have to get ready for the autocross tomorrow with the challenge car. So i doubt much more will be done today or tomorrow.
Here's an internet pat on the back, for the successful heart transplant and start up!
Have fun tomorrow at the autocross.
I'm not sure if I want to go shake down the challenge car more or drive this thing more at this point. Both are equally appealing. Don't don't get me wrong, I love my truck. But driving it everyday on narrow roads at the congested parking lots gets old.

Its going to be my daily for a minute. Then, it will donate the goodies i want to the acr, before either becoming my daughter's first car or somebody else's problem .
Goal for today is ac compressor, and belt. Maybe fill trans with fluid.
