Great seeing (and hearing) the Jaaaag in person.

It's actually a Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon. You can see a pic of it in my "garage"
The Jaaaaag got new shoes tonight.
And because this is truly my daily driver, and Indiana has snowy winters, I had to go with all season tires.
I'll probably be the slowest Gastropod guy. Because 500 treadwear tires.
In reply to Stampie :I
I'll give you a smoke show in October.
I did my best to remove the remaining tread from the old tires. Indy-wife asked why my car smelled funny when I came home from work. I reminded her about my appointment for new tires, and then it dawned on her: I was doing smoke shows on the way home. Busted.
Re: 500 treadwear gastropod...
I may have a solution for you. On vacation this week but I'll get back to you next week. I have some Michelin pilot sport cups on xjr wheels and I think they are gastropod legal.
(I really want the xjr to do well because I keep saying my xjr is my best challenge car and I keep bringing something else instead, like a chump).

You back from vacation?
Also, there's the "Indy British Motor Days" Show tomorrow if your interested. North West Indy just off I-65 ( link to info ) I'm taking the Jaaaag & a few of the Indy-kids. pic from their website:
Gorgeous weather today.
Indy-kids are really enjoying all the little cars.
Original '66 Lotus 7. You forget how small these cars are, until you see them "in the flesh"
Harbor Freight finally had this on sale, soooooo........ It's time to start working on the cosmetics.

I was just there the other day and saw that they finally re-released it under the new name! Same price as the old one. Pull the gear apart and put some high quality grease in it and she'll quiet right down.
Car is looking great, Brian!

I'm considering a different livery. I don't have a vinyl cutter and my real life budget and time are limited. I do have access to a large plotter, so I printed these out. What do you think? Mid car? Or at the back? Bigger?
I would go on the front drivers door, with the amber side marker being the eye of the tiger (jag)
Edited to add: about to bound over the front wheel arch

Ok, I'll resize it and see if I can get it to fit as you've suggested.
I'm going to try to cut this out and use it as a stencil, then paint it on using Plasti-Dip.
I'm leaning towards fluorescent green ( think Monster Energy livery)....
What color do you guys recommend?
I'm partial to big mclarge-huge over the quarter panels, like this.
Edit: flourescent green is an excellent color choice, regardless of placement.

Is that an offer to help? I know you're very busy with T-shirts and two wheel racing.
In reply to Eurotrash_Ranch :
Boy, y'know, seeing that picture above, I'm thinking the hindquarter placement per the blue car looks best. Sorry to change my mind, not that it really matters in this case. As for color, I'm thinking a fogged or airbrushed silver instead of clearly defined lines. Again, just me.
