Yesterday I spent 3-4 hours making this:
I have the matching top box for this and I basically used to have everything in the rolling box. But I hate drawers. And the thing was too heavy to follow me around to the "jobsite". And I didn't have a service cart that I could set an axle or trans or something else heavy down on when using the lift.
The most frequently used tools are still in the box. Sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.
The board is a piece of siding that has been sitting around for quite a while taking up space. I screwed it to the studs in about 15 places, then I was able to nail and screw wherever I wanted to hang stuff. I left stuff on the wall as I put it up and nothing fell as I was hammering new nails so I'm pretty confident stuff won't fall easily, which is important.
I have a ton of screwdrivers and only want the best ones in my rolling box so I might hang a few on the wall. I also have some t handle Allen keys to figure out what to do with. And I want to add a small fire extinguisher too.
I'm excited to see how this functions! It's basically right on the driver's front corner of a car if a car is on the lift.
