Different direction. S550 mustang gt front and rear suspension and brakes. 14" front brakes with 4 piston floating calipers. 13" rear brakes with independent rear suspension. V10 engine and tr6060 transmission. Right hand drive. Everything is at my shop. I will post updates and pics regularly. 18x9.5 corvette rallys. 295/45/18 tires
V10? Like... like Dodge 8.1 Liter V10? And right hand drive? This thread has turned into the equivalent of a Lemons rally pit party when you can get Barbeque AND pizza AND homemade pastries. Full sensory overload!

Ford 6.8 v10
Nothing in this thread makes sense.
I love it.
Edit: oh, and thanks for catching us up. I'd hate to miss anything.
ok so got the irs in the nova today. I wanted to be able to take it in and out so i started off making some dowels out of grade 8 nuts
the mount plates have the dowel on one side and the hidden nut welded to the other then i placed them in the holes of the subframe mounts and bolted them down
i took the rear axle out of the nova and got the irs in place. made mounts out of flat steel, i ran pieces from the nova frame rails to the plates that were bolted down to the subframe.
once the suspension was in i test fit the corvette rallies and am in love with the way they fit. im looking for a flare that works.
its awesome sitting on its own. i have it on my wifes cobra wheels until i get tires
I'm leaning more towards box flairs in the vain of dasianti 510 wagon. Same boxy feeling to the car. Wish I knew how to photoshop. That way I could just show you.
I know nothing about this IRS and it's geometry, but the a- arms look to be too angled for my eye. I would expect that a lower ride height with the wood springs cut shorter so the arms were almost parallel to the ground would be correct.

If you look closely you can see I have 4x4" wood blocks cut and in place of the springs because of the offset of the wheels its sitting on. I will have to modify the wheel wells later.
Dusterbd13-michael said:Nohome: The axles parallel make them the strongest on irs.
I put blocks in the place of the springs until I can get the wheel wells modified.
