Wow!
You've been on one helluva buying spree!
Nice
After last year's disappointing finish for the Regal he's decided to line up a decade's worth of potential future Challenge winners.
Sorry busy afternoon. So yes I bought Igor from Brotus7. Actually made the deal a few months ago but was waiting for his trip down to Charlotte. I swear I'm done buying vehicles and several are going away soon. Igor is just way too cool plus y'all let it sit for sale for like two weeks.
It was great meeting Brotus7 in person and also great to talk with a fellow Airman. Thanks Michael for the driveway space and the Mexican food. NASCAR half body is going to dyintorace.
I'll part with the gas station picture before I get ready for bed.
Was great to meet Stampie and Michael yesterday. I'm thrilled to see Igor stay in the GRM family and will keep my eyes open for updates! Good luck!
This thread started with a pic of me towing it home, seems fitting to end my stewardship with a pic of me towing it away. It's hard to describe how small Europas are until you see it in person.

I'm pretty sure you have honorary redneck status after yesterday. Not many people help create a Jekyll and Hyde Europa/NASCAR combo. Enjoy your vacation and tell your wife that I said thanks.
First stop for a morning Dr. Pepper turned into a 10 minute conversation that started with "What is that?"

The first of many! I had 3 in my drive down yesterday.
If you're going to have strap issues do it at the exit that has Tractor Supply Co. right as you get off.
I noticed that one strap had chafed a little at the check everything before 95 stop. Right at exit 77 in SC that strap didn't look right. Pulled off and see that it didn't break but the other end had come off the hook. Said berk it and bought new straps in TSC and replaced that one with two. Michael for the record we need 14 foot straps to go crisscross.
Next stop lunch. Conversation count about the Europa at 4.
Be careful with flailing strap buckles near that windshield - replacements are $$$ and come from Yurop!
I know a guy that laid an incandescent bulb drop light over the roof and onto the top of the windshield. The heat cracked it, and he said north of $1000 to replace it. Yikes.

Windshield survived the trip but I'm thinking of building something to guard it from future damage.

Oh it's a much longer list than that...

I do know about the Ford twins, the T and the A, and the C3 being the latest, before Igor, but I think he might be totally nuts to have so many projects going(being said with admiration and respect)
In reply to StripesSA1 :
I have issues. Not sure there should be any admiration or respect.

Those are Vega wheels. This Europa is 4x100 now.
I meant to put this picture up the other day. I love it.
There's been questions about me fitting so here's me getting in.
Taking with Brotus7 the other day I realized this is my first rear mid engine.
Just remember not to lean on the door when getting in and out. The door hinges just barely work, putting any force on them during ingress or egress will alter the door gaps. But in saying that, hopefully they're not totally seized.
