The eldorado integral parking brake caliper were industry standard for a LONG time in rear disc conversion kits.
I berkeleying hate them.
I don't know a good interchange.
I was gonna say this but my phone ate my post.
My favorite part of it just says "contains two vented rotors"
From what, goobers!?
Changing topic here. I think the rims are fine it's the tire size that is way off. The ones on the original rims are by far the better choice looks wise. The new tires look like a emo kid in skinny jeans. Not a good look.

Dad took a wire brush to the worst wheel. Looking at the pitting, anyone have any comments?
The best wheel of the bunch:
Roughest one:
Hard to see pitting in a picture. Can you bring it to the challenge? Get a few sets of hands on it?

I didn't realize Dad got some video of the other weekend.
So, enjoy a quick drive around the field while I test the brakes.
In reply to Mr_Asa :
I've been on that dirt road.

Gonna have to get you back there to wander around
Please check firing order and spark plug wire routing. Sounds like dead miss to me.

In reply to AngryCorvair (Forum Supporter) :
The idle sound and throttle response when in park/neutral is the same as in earlier in this thread. But definitely worth checking. I'll double check the firing order before I get out there next time. The wires are likely E36 M3.
MASSIVE exhaust leak as well
You have wires in my truck

Also
I was able to get there this weekend. If only for some parking lot hours. I turned a wrench on the PLB. A wrench, singular. But I still helped.
Forget video. Give us the deets man!

Brakes: still kinda E36 M3ty. Work, would not trust a panic stop. Luckily I was driving extremely rural roads.
Overheating: helps to make sure the electric fan is hooked up. Stayed a rock solid 185 all day, probably helps that the cap is bad and allowing some pressure past it.
Ignition: was at roughly 22-24degrees BTDC at idle. Dialed it back down to something semi regular and I still had to increase idle to about 2K in order for her to not immediately die. Unfortunately the plug wires would have interfered with the headers.
But. She runs. She berkeleyin hauls. I am very happy.
Some transmission berkeleyery, but I think that is mostly cause she leaks like a stuck pig. Gonna plug those, top fluids, futz with the ignition and carb again and see how we do
In reply to Mr_Asa :
Ignition first, then carb ONLY after the ignition is good.
It's way too easy to chase your own tail otherwise...

I'm half thinking the converter doesn't wanna unlock. The display for the shift controller doesn't show anything, but all the LCDs are lit up.
Awesome progress. I'm 99% sure the converter lock up is a pink wire and its ground is brown.

A reminder to myself from page 4, pull cap and check the bits.

Yes, however, in this case Rosie needs carb work. Both because shes been sitting and because you can hear it in the videos.

Out of curiosity, what specifically are you hearing?
In reply to APEowner :
A basic cleaning/ gasket refresh, yes. Anything else (Jets, idle speed, etc.)? No.
I'd be awfully suspicious of the advance mechanism in the dizzy and the plug wires. It sounds to me like a dead miss.
