Sweeet.
Tonight's mission is to hack up a racingbeat exhaust from a first gen and make it work for mine. FUN!
I may reuse the mufflers from my long-gone Legacy GT too! FrankenWankel!

s5 or s4?
I did that in my old garage, it shook the windows
also, didnt get a chance to take a look at my "backstock" last night, got drunk for a friend leaving town for the summer, basically didn't make it home lol. tonite I'll let you know.
SHE LIVES! Photos next to my buddies hillclimb Eclipse. We were both using autocross as a shakedown period.
The AR tires are pretty good at autocross. I was running too much pressure in them to reduce grip so I could better judge the balance of the car.
Also... I was faster.
Also need to clean up my garage.... It's a tornado in there with all the action over the past few weeks getting the car back together.
What spring rates are you running? I think you posted that up a while back but I can't find it.
Also, do the KYB's dampen the spring rate well enough?
Thanks,
Rob R.
450 front 325 rear.
The KYBs do an acceptable job for now since I haven't gotten to the point where I'm fine tuning things. They'll be replaced with revalved billsteins later in the car's development.
Are you running an aftermarket swaybar on the front or rear?
Actually, would you be willing to summarize your set-up and alignment? I am sure some others would find it beneficial as well.
Thanks!
Rob R.
P.S. I understand that some of these things can be "proprietary".
Yeah it's ALL proprietary haha
Stock sways for now until I lock down what I want for spring rates. I prefer to use sways as finite adjustment rather than bad spring choice bandaid.
Front: KYB AGXs, Eiback 450 pound springs on ground control adjustable perches. AWR camber plates.
Rear: Koni Yellows with 325 pound Eibachs and Ground Control Adjustable perches with spherical bearing top hats. Battle Version adjustable lateral links and adjustable camber link. Racing Beat DTSS bushings.
Don't know the alignment numbers yet as I'm still setting ride height. I'll be aiming for about -2.5 degrees camber and 5+ degrees caster in the front. -1 degree camber in the rear. Zero toe all around for hillclimbs, 1/8th out in the front for autocross.
Oh and the new exhaust is a Racing Beat race header going into two RB resonators and terminating with a pair of (still incoming) Moroso Spiral Flow mufflers. It's 2" ID tubing (for each rotor) all the way back with no crossover.
oh and I had to modify the KYBs to fit in the camber plates. Had to (precisely) grind down the shoulder so they would fit through the bearing correctly. Took about 20 minutes for each one and a lot of time with a pair of calipers.
