should work now

All I've done is sub boxes in the past, so this will be a learning experience. I've been reading how-tos and watching videos for 6 months though so I feel confident I can get some race-ready parts, if not show-ready ones. Like anything else the work is in the prep.
I enjoyed the vidoes. You (or whoever was driving) were really carrying some speed through some of those sections. And it looked very stable, even when it got sideways. Its amazing what a front bar will do!
And that C6 was sexy
That was my buddy Lee. He was only a couple tenths slower than me in the car that day. The long run down the front side we were over 9k rpm in second gear.
It's VERY stable in a slide. My whole goal with setup was to create a more slidey Miata.
Adding 100+ horsepower and a working LSD should make next year even more fun.
The C6 was so damn fast... SM ZO6 should be though.
So what's been going on with the car in the past month? Nothing in the garage that's for sure! I'm still working on insulating and wiring the place before I set up work benches and storage.
However, not all is still with this project....
In reply to DaveEstey: I had a 91 rx years ago, and the only thing I truely hated was the variable toe angle in the rear suspension, wet pavement on curvy WV roads was a little sketchy at times with the mystery drifts lol

Neither! New bridgeport engine incoming.
Warm temps over the weekend meant I was able to get some work done on teardown for rollcage and body work.
I also did some work to allow me to heat the garage. Installed 12 rolls of insulation. need to buy and install 5 more to have the ceiling done.
After hanging 3 rolls by myself I realized I should be wearing a mask. Then I realized I could tack up some thin boards to help support the insulation before I stapled it.
Well since I have more power on the way I decided I should upgrade the drivetrain a bit. In the back seat of my Avalon is a Turbo II transmission (Thanks Rex7!) that should be much more durable than the N/A transmission. To go along with it I've ordered an ACT light weight steel flywheel (9.8lbs) and the requisite counterweight to go with it. Next up is clutch stuff.
I'll have pics after I finish digging out from our latest snow storm.
In reply to DaveEstey:
I run a stock leading FC coil and a a MSD blaster coil using the FB dizzy setup, my distributor is setup for the direct fire but I don't actually know how to set it up, however I know it entails another ignitor that is idle on my dizzy but I'll snap some pics of the setup soon.
This is the first build thread I've read all the way through and I'm hooked! How long have you been racing?

7 years now, but this is my first truly serious build.
My buddy is coming over Tuesday to discuss the roll cage. In the meantime I've been working on the garage around the car.
Here's what the garage is:
He's what it will be:
Time for some heavy metal and a wrecker bar.
In reply to DaveEstey:
What drawing program are you using to do that? I need to rearrange my garage and could use something like that.
My buddy who will be helping me with the cage was supposed to come down so we can pre-game (his welds don't look like chicken E36 M3), but he has an inflamed retina so he's MIA for the time being.
