Now that I've got her registered in my name, I guess it's time to start an ownership experience thread. First mod complete:
GRM license plate frame +5hp, so I'm down an even 200 from AW's Rowdy Audi.
Fly and drive stats:
3 airports: DTW, BNA, DAL
2 airplanes: both 737
1 upgrade: 2nd flight was full and I'm bougie, so I bought early boarding to get that precious aisle seat
0 Waffle House: I decided to fast on Day 2 of the drive, which I know 100% is no excuse for skipping WH on Day 1.
1160 miles in 20 hours over 2 days
23.8 mpg average
I was like "What is 3 Baby 9?"
So under appreciated and under marketed.

2017, Nightfall Grey (2017-only color), 41.6k miles at purchase, manual of course. One owner. Bone stock. Dealer maintained. 1 of 142 this color with manual trans and sunroof and spare. Not rare by SS standards.
If I may ask, is this a daily and therefore subject to the "don't mod the daily" rule? Or can i look forward to a rowdy camshaft and an LSA blower?
In reply to budget_bandit :
You may ask.😎
Yes, this will be my daily, and yes it will be subject to "don't mod the daily." If I feel the need for moar speed, I'll borrow AW's Rowdy Audi.
When these were new I'd scan the local dealers......really liked these.
Its It's not polite to kiss and tell, but what do SSs with a stick go for these days?

Last I looked, asking prices ranged from $31k with over 100k miles, to one I drove here in Ann Arbor at $38k with 78k miles, to $55k with 5k miles.
I paid $46.5k with 41k miles. This is a one-owner car with service records and no crashes. Asking price was $48k.

Don’t mess with the SS.
berkeleyin' right!
I might have once had a T-shirt sporting those words. (Yes, of course it was a sparkly iron-on from the store that let you customize your own T-shirt.)
This is my fiancée's fathers SS. It's a 2017, Orange Blast Metallic, 6-speed and currently sitting with something like 8k miles. He's old, doesn't drive it but once every 2 weeks to keep it exercised and unfortunately I can't justify buying it from him. Maybe it will eventually end up here some day, just can't afford or justify it unfortunately.
Thanks a lot AC! This is a new addition to my list of wantings.
I don't think I've ever seen one in person. I bet it's a blast to drive
In reply to gsettle :
You may have seen one you have to have a keen eye to differentiate from a Malibu or Impala of similar vintage. There are a couple around that I see regularly, I think they have cleaner lines than an Impala and more muscular than a Malibu.
Nice score AC.
I seriously considered buying one of these a while back, and went so far as to test drive one and look at financing. It was, in my opinion, one of the best cars I've ever driven for my particular set of wants. I'd compare it favorably to a contemporary M3. The facts that the one that was available was black and the finances suddenly had an unplanned drain put on them are the only reasons I didn't get it.
I'm looking forward to wsee how this goes.

I have only run 91 or higher so far, but I known my cheap side is gonna come out before long and I'll run a tank of 87. I will post results here.
