So, now that you have removed virtually everything from your base gun, can you use all the parts to build a second 10/22?

I could just need a receiver and a bolt. Last night I was looking at building a pistol version of this.

Nice guns. Yeah before I started this thread I contacted the Patio Builder to make sure it was ok. Even then you won't see my AR builds as a thread because well we don't need the polarizing nature of that. I thought this would appeal to the GRM crowd because of the light weight aspects and the mechanical nature of a well built gun. Follow up later next week but Lil Stampie came up with an idea that dropped a significant amount of weight off the 10/22.
We went to the range and shot it today. Here's Lil Stampie shooting.
Here's his grouping on those 25 rounds.

I think the old man won today.
Overall it's a great shooting pinker. If anything I wish the red dot was smaller than 2 mil.
Yeah that was part of what we were doing today but then just turned into this is a fun gun to shoot.
Because I like bringing up old E36 M3 here's a blast from the past.
Lil Stampie got a 3d printer for his birthday last month. I had visions of me doing all kinds of cool stuff but my old man afraid of trying new things took over. Thanks to TVR Scott kicking me in the ass a little I learned how to do some stuff in Fusion 360. Today I designed a new lightweight stock and printed it out. New on right and old on left.
3d printed stock drops 5oz off which is amazing. It also fits the lines of the gun much better. Grand total with empty mag is now 3lb 6.8oz which gets me below my goal and kinda amazing considering I went all out building a lightweight AR pistol and got it barely below 4lbs.
