You guys make me feel better about the questionable vehicular choices I've made in life.
I sold $500 in Model A parts today. That makes the Model A $250 from being zeroed out.
For AC cause I know he likes Benjamin porn.

Quoting myself from 5 pages and 3 years ago...
If you can't take that Model A to the Challenge you know I sure can. And probably would.
I guess I forgot to update a few weeks ago when I tore the Model A front, rear, engine, and trans apart to make space and get ready to do something.
Saved here because NOHOME posted nice porn.

Two old sayings come to mind right now.
"Never look a gift horse in the mouth." and "Nothing in life is free."
Today I picked up the trailerparkcet from pimpm3 since no one else was stupid enough to do so.
In as found condition.
Yes that's honeysuckle still growing here in late December.
I put the rear wheels on and started to come a long it up. Found out real quick that the rear wheels were locked up. Thought there's plenty of room so I dragged it about 50 feet.
Unfortunately that only freed up the drivers rear. Also was unfortunate for the animal that lost their rain cover.
Because both wheels weren't rolling in the rear it made it drift off to the side. I had to get redneck on it.
After I got it up on the deck I used the come a long to pull it over straight. On the way home I stopped to see Go_Gators. Pretty sure he was questioning my life choices. Then onto Publix to grab something for dinner.
So why did a get this? Good question. My thoughts are now I have a free to budget front suspension and rear axle including 15 inch wheels which I prefer to run. I have a bunch of wiring plus a gas tank. Plenty of metal to make a floor and firewall. It'll be interesting to see what all I can salvage and how much I can save in budget.

Stampie, checking in with you. When do you anticipate we'll see the T or the A at the Challenge?
I'd really like to see this one get finished.

Water pump, oil pump, and modern replaceable bearings. It is a Cadillac so nothing half assed.
Wait til you pull the oil pan and see the size of the weights. There's a reason they're so smooth.
It's been 10 days since the Challenge. We started bringing out the parts for the build. I couldn't find the rear subframe but I did find a whole filling cabinet that I forgot about. Goal today was get the frame and two subframes out so I'll work on the rear subframe as homework this week.
That's the most Florida and grm thing I've heard in a long time.
"I couldn't find the rear subframe"
You gotta break out the brush hog as part of the build process! Love that E36 M3! Hate your ecosystem. I thought nc sucked....

Just so you are thinking about it... that is likely a 4.44 rear gear. Tire diameter and transmission choice will be important!

It might have been at previous events but it wasn't. We're starting. I figure a couple of weekends and we'll be doing donuts in the street out front.

I wouldn't hold your breath...Stampie might be only GRM'er slower at building Challenge cars than AC!
