Those floor mats absolutely need to stay!
FWIW....I'm bidding on eBay for a matching set of slip on seat covers in matching red and black zebra print. May be new Pascha!!!
DAKTARI all the way baby FTW!!!!!!!
OH HELL YEAH !!!!!! with PD's
Santa in the brown truck keeps dropping off stuff but no transmission parts or clutch parts yet. Trying out different steering wheels since the 320 mm Momo is too small. 350 mm OMP in black suede seems small also. Trying a 380 mm spearco. seats look vintage I'm happy with how they turned out
Those seats are spectacular.

Thanks, Seth. I considered plaid and Pasha But ultimately decided to go kind of old school with the houndstooth and simple pleats in keeping with the 1978 era rally cars. Trying to keep all the components old school and low-key since the car itself is going to be kind of outrageous and raised and knobby tires Etc.

The seats look great. Hope you find a wheel that you like.
Love the seats... glad to see you are back at it!
Some mighty fine parts have passed over that tailgate! :)

Hey Ovid, saw this today, thought of you;

That looks like Leh Keen's first safari build judging by red Georgia clay!
Update coming on mine as I'm about finished with the interior at least. I was able to score a small Club Sport front valence and bumper to use and it's going to impact final design and color scheme.
While waiting for this thread to pop back up in latest posts with interior pics I spotted this pic on another forum. If you do the Safari theme I think you should incorporate the old Bolus & Snopes logo.

I apologize for the lack of updates. Been a little busy dealing with Farm problems in south Georgia and health issues. Hope to get some pics of my progress up soon. In the meantime here's a safari build from bring a trailer. Bidding is up to $60,000 with plenty of time left to go in the auction.

In reply to 759NRNG :
He’s still scavenging parts & searching for ones previously removed in his garage, but it sounds like I’ll be heading up there somewhat soon to lend a hand with assembly.

Inspiration
oh hell yeah !!!.....O&F I can see a market for PUAV's .....hmmmm
I'm BACCCCKKKKKK! Damn health issues got in the way. Sorry for lack of progress. But rare Mississippi porsche barn finds are getting me back in saddle. Scored these 15x7 and 15x8 original 911/930 Fuchs. Never restored and a few scratchets but has correct patina for my rally build. Need to wash and vaseline lips. Spent great afternoon visiting with cool old porsche enthusiast at a truck stop diner. Fully restored these wheels go for $2000 to $3000!
Original 911 factory rally cars used 7" same size tires on all corners. Im gonna try staggerd setup with 205 front 225 rear. At least to start. I bet the 7s weight less than 10 lbs.
No peeking...
Just weighed 7s on accurate scale...11.2 lbs

Me too. I also saw on FB that Mark Lasota's birthday was recent. We lost some good ones last year.
