In the grand tradition of GRM, I'm starting a build thread, before the new GRM Europa is even acquired 
IF my friend's FIL from Elkhart area (a known looser) does indeed make it to the correct location in the morning, and doesn't loose it before I can get it to AL, I will be the proud owner of a GRM Free Lotus Europa - body shell.
Zero current plans, but since I was next in line for a free GRM Europa (had to purchase the $900 salvage Toyota with) before a MUCH better craftsman than me got it (it made it to a way better home than mine). Well, I always loved those cars, and going to get to do something fun with this one
With no chassis, I'll feel better about not retaining Colin's philosophy, while doing what ever happens to it!!
I'm no where near talented enough to keep it as light as he would have approved of

Have you put an airtag on the FIL?
Having no constraints will make for an interesting adventure!

Well, as far as I know so far, Cory sending gas money, was as big a waste as I was afraid of! Expecting more out of a guy (admittedly, I've never met) I've never heard one good thing about did not sound like a great plan.
I do have the phone number for the guy that has it at his place at the moment, and will try to work something out with him directly.
My truck had a tire come apart on this trip home, but made it in town to deliver my wife's Audi wagon. Gotta put these 20's back on the parts truck, swap rhe 16's back, and add a 4th (of unknown quality)

Only two frames I have (both are zero budget) are an o5 p71, and an 87 Dakota.
But I DONT have Gumby's talent 
Now, not only have I not heard any feedback from the guy that didn't show up, I'm back out of town, and can't reach the friend that tried to set it up 
After work (only 3:30) I'll call the guy that is still waiting on it to be moved; see what kinda leeway I have!
