Well let's face it... that was a pretty easy target 

GU6 3.42:1 rear which means that with the new 25" tire combo I will fair well at cruises, may not be the friendliest at highway speeds though.

Dont forget you can go to taller lower BJs for better camber gain and a mild drop in ride height.

Nothing better than doing a timing belt on a 70 series volvo in -20c during a snowstorm in you gravel driveway so your wife can get to college on Monday. 

The best part is your beer is always cold.

So how bad could it be to disassemble a blazer in the cold snowing weather. Get it done MOFO the clock is ticking. 

Since the operation last year I've been a little cold weather averse. It's the only thing that's really seemed to have changed. I feel as strong, as limber, as flexible as before but if I'm cold and try to do anything my abs feel like I'm sparring with Tyson.

Yes they are.

After a lot of soul searching I decided that no matter how much I tried the Blazer would still end up feeling like a truck. I began looking for an affordable answer and since one of the few items that would need addressed was spring rate I decided to buy something cheap and easy to adjust. The answer became The Answer and I struck a deal on one. I'm still on the fence concerning motivation but as it stands it will be a stockish 1996 Miata 1.8 underneath. 

I can say a 3400 fits. Sort of.

But, with the size of the car, a miata donor makes sense.

I am 85% certain that it's going to stay a 1.8L Miata. There is an outside option of the donor coming with a Megasquirt and an older Jackson Racing supercharger for not Challenge pricing but it's seriously a consideration if I can justify it internally.
