A big block c-body on gaudy big chrome wheels would only attract the donk crowd where I live. But the guys that drive those pay cash. Typically in rolls of mixed bills.

Thank you. I will be selling the FJ once I finish the tbi fuel injection conversion. I love the truck but it doesn't work for what I need. I bought a z71 suburban as a daily and It's time for a new project ie; the chevelle.
I bought the fury strictly to sell. I hope to put it on Craigslist next week.
So I pulled the fan out to install the new radiator.
...and realized that the pulley was dirty.
Unacceptable. Fan shroud needs some love as well.

I also got a smaller air cleaner. The one that came with the car hit the distributor and never fit correctly.

I am doing a popular swap/upgrade for the steering. It involves using a steering box from a 1993-1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It is essentially a direct bolt on and greatly improves the feel and ratio. The best part is that since jeep made eleventy billion grand cherokees they are cheap. The box cost me $50 from the local LKQ. I spent $33.00 for a new rag joint/guibo and $25.00 for lee engineering adapters and tool for the hose ends. So for essentially $100 I will drastically improve the steering.

As for the fury, selling the donk wheels on CL and slapping a set of mopar rallies or cop car steelies on it will pay off if you expect a mopar guy to buy it. Any mopar purist (and lets face it that's 99.9% of Mopar guys) will try and talk you down because of the wheels.

Today I got the steering arms reattached. I also re-installed the drivers side manifold, and spark plugs. I still have to rebuild the power steering pump, replace the radiator and re-install the alternator. Hopefully I can knock most of that out this weekend.
On a side note I just wanted to say that the vibrating tumbler thing I got for Christmas last year is awesome. This build is the first one I have used it on.
I have been throwing the bolts and brackets into it and letting it do its thing while I work on other stuff. They come out looking almost new.

Will that tumbler hold liquids too? Pour a bit of degreaser in with the media for super cleaning action... I have cleaning ocd...
You need to get a proper fan, flex fans are not safe, the blades can come off and go flying through the hood, or through you if you happen to be leaning over the engine.
I put the entire dual fan assembly off a Ford Windstar on my '77 Silverado. Fits like it was meant to. Ran it through a Sunfire/Cavalier starter recall relay (super cheap and plentiful at the wreckers), and a temp switch from a 2.8L V6 fwd somethinorother. Works dandy.
