Yeah. No complaints. I'll have to get the windows tinted for sure now though. Other than that, Great value for the $$$

I actually saw your twin yesterday, JH36. It pulled up next to me at the traffic light. I think it was an Auto through.

I finally got to hit some of the good driving roads around Austin and even with the winter tires on it, it's a lot of fun. Still no complaints at all.

So next step in the process. I've got about 2K miles on her now. So she is all broke in and I'm now believing the Mid 5 second 0-60 times.

I've decided on what I'm going to use for brake pads. Just got a set of Ferodo DS 2500 on order. I've used them in the past and for a street car that gets track work, it's been a good fit so we will see how they do here. I'll install the GT3 Brake Ducts as well when I do the pads.

I've got an alignment appointment here in a couple weeks. I'll be interested to see how bad the factory alignment is. My plan is crash bolts and slight front toe out and very slight toe in for the rear.   I think this car will be very competitive in D Street. With any luck, the driver will be too but no bets on that.

So it gets it's first track time March 16th. I'm signed up for the TNiA at Harris Hill that day. Should be a good time.

Over the weekend, I took it out to some of my favorite driving roads in the area. Seems it must have been a GT3RS owner's club meet because I saw more of them on the roads in one day than I've ever seen. It was great though to see them out running their cars.

I was still running the winter tires on the car because I am just getting my stuff to Austin from my other house so next weekend, I'll fit the regular tires. Even with those, It was such a blast. I was surprised how well they performed.

Those that know know the central TX roads know that it's a roller coaster of a drive. Too much fun.

So first track day today. Since it was a TNiA event and I was running the slow group to knock off the rust, I kept the factory "Prius" tires on it. I'll tell you what, They sing like a bad opera singer when pushed hard but it's all good.

Not much to report but that's a good thing. I think the factory shocks are a little aggressive on the rebound. There is a section heading where if you can get a run you'll be over 100 MPH in a decent braking zone and it was pretty bumpy. More than once it felt a little like it saw skipping into there.

No incidents and I had a great time. And to me, that's all that matters. So I call today a big win.

So this week I updated the daily driving tires to a set of Continental ECS. Went with the 235/45/17 size. It fills out the wheel well nicely and gives it a little more stick overall. Better the McDrift tires that came factory.

And in the I am an idiot front, I now have clear turn markers on the car. I was pulling into the garage the other day and got too close to the shelves on the far side. TG I managed to hit right on the side marker and missed all of the paint surface. When I looked for replacements, the JDM side markers were actually cheaper so yeah easy choice.

So I have 2 events coming up in May, doing a SCCA time trail event and an autocross. Looking forward to both.
