I've had an interesting offer for the car. A 1999 Mustang Cobra SVT. Sorta tempted by it, I like that body style, it's a coupe, and the first year for the IRS. Might be easier to sell than a V6 'vert. Thoughts from the hive?
Your car is a better 'car' but the Cobra SVT is a better Mustang.

Edit: I had posted a caution about a used Cobra, but hey - if it has not been beat all to @#$% and you like it, GO FOR IT! They are great cars. I wanted one back in the day but got a GT instead, main thing is that is a high winder - probably been swapped out to 4.30 gears in back, many were ridden hard...but could be a great ride. Did not mean to rain on the parade. It will be the anti-car of a 6 cylinder convert.
Okay guys we can officialy close the books on this one. Car has been sold for the asking price of $6500 to a nice young lady with a history of Mustangs, so I know it will continue to be in good hands. That also means we managed to eek out a bit of a profit on this one, to the tune of a tad over $660 dollars, which is more than I had expected.
I did have a last ling with it before selling also took it for a trip down the Tail of the Dragon and had a blast. So stay tuned as I finally get started on the 'Vette in the upcoming weeks!
