Take one 1959 Goliath station wagon and one 1989 Subaru GL10 Turbo and voila one 2013 challenge car

Not sure that's exactly "unholy", but definitely out of left-field.

I'm guessing you're going to boost the living bejeebus out of the drive train in order to properly move that aptly named wagon.

A Goliath wagon is teeny tiny!

Oh yes. I like where this is headed.

And +1 to boost-eroids to achieve Goliath status.

Sweet, I like it.

Reminds me of the project Speedycop over at Lemons is just embarking on.

While I like crazy swaps as much as the next guy, you've got to be REALLY crazy to appreciate the EA turbo engine. What a turd. The EJ non-turbo engines make just as much power, and the EJ turbo engines make Goliath amounts of power (you see where this is going?).

Good luck, you're going to need it to pull this project off!

It'll be faster if you leave the drivetrain in the GL, just add Impreza struts, XT6 knuckles, 5 lug brakes/wheels of your choice, etc.

But not as cool as a weirdo old flat four in a weirdo old wagon. ultimatesubaru.org if you need help with the engine.

I was hoping for a Renault based on the thread title.
