Finishing up the logos in inkscape so I can send them out to the printer so at least I can have masks for doing the airbrush work. Not 100% happy with the Radio font yet and my have to freehand that. Should only cost 40-50$ to have it cut out in vinyl.
Got the gauges in, and rear lights on. Need to do the brake lines next and run some fuel lines then the worst part starts. The wiring.
Passenger door is done but paint is not aged yet. Needs to dry a bit more I think. Got the rear clamshell release installed not fun and I still need to clean up the cables a bit. Picture of the gauges also for you. Had to grind the front driver rotor a bit more it was hitting a tiny tiny bit. String aligned the front to lets say 2 degrees so at least it rolls straight now. Pedals are drilled out and go in tomorrow.
Ok real question time. Do I paint the inside the of the headlights the color of the car or black or just leave them cream?
In reply to wearymicrobe :
I'll vote for the color of the rest of the car. If it were mine and I didn't, I'd notice it _every time_ I walked up the car and regret not taking the time to paint to match. YMMV.
Body color for sure. They should not draw attention, IMO.
It's super easy to paint them. So silver it is.
Agreed, body color for the headlights. Car is coming together so well!
flat silver was what the original headlights were painted ,
so flat silver even if your car was red !
Car is looking good......
Starting to look more and more like a car.
I am fighting my sticker package through I used some weird fonts and need to send them out to the priter or figure a way to turn my PDF into a EPS file with the line art maintained.
This is coming together way faster than it should be. I'm envious.

No kidding. I've waited for parts lost in the mail longer than his whole build.
Had to put the interior in just to see how it looks and so I could order seat sliders.
Send me your pdf and I can probably convert it. Just be sure to embed the fonts if it gives you the option.
Gimp is a free downloadable graphics program, with it you should be able to export a pdf file to an eps file.
A summary or links on how you have achieved the faux aluminum finish would be most appreciated.
Headlights looking much much better.
Carpet is going in
Brake lines are now in, so is the gas line. Finishing up the carpet tomorrow its 107f in the garage today and I am dripping sweat into my shoes. Still don't have my frekaing axle covers which is pissing me off as I ordered them ~3+ weeks ago and they now show in stock on the website but no shipment date yet.
Next thing is to start labeling the wiring harness and laying the last of it out.
Also painted under the rear bonnet black and got oil paint on my airs and in my gloves. Been scrubbing it off for a while.
Still painting a few little areas of the black to touchup but looking good now. I hate how they look when people don't paint the bonnets and fender liners properly.

I apologize. I fixed it now. Not very good at internet.
Seats have sliders. I needed to add about 3/4 of a inch to the bottom of the seat plus the 1 inch of slider to get comfortable with the clutch and get a good position. Shifter is in going up to pickup the cables and rear mounts tomorrow from the shop that is the last of the mechanical that I have except mounting the seats and the steering wheel.
Rear wiring harness is installed on the motor, that was easy. Still need to run it to the front of the car and hok up the gauges and a few other things. I HATE WIRING CARS> I HATE IT SO SO SO SO SO SO SO MUCH.
