I probably shouldn't of, but I did. I just drove to Austin to pick up an evolution orange 2000 Miata roller. Bought it from calteg here on GRM This Juan.
Plans: A car I can drive daily (with AC) and for I and Mrs Yupididit to autocross when we can.
Obviously it needs some things:
- Engine and accessories
- Radiator
- Exhaust
- Tail lights
- Top (Black please)
- Drivers seat
- New hood and front bumper
I'll try to get it running before the end of the year. Would-be faster BUT new house plus promises I made the lady first lol. Also, still have to slide the 4.2 Cayman S into our life. I could wax that idea and call Sir Keith

Yes it is. A very rare one actually. Called Evolution Orange. One of 646 sold in the US
Glad you picked it up. I liked the idea of doing something for a track rat but need that like a hole in my head right now. :)

Geez, a $700 southern roller......I could combine that with my $1000 supercharged '99,which isn't rust free, and have a nice little car for years to come. Good luck with the build.

I received my engine and top from Dusterbd13 by way of Vigo who brought it to Texas from the 2017 Challenge for me
