Fixed
Would still beat you by a year.

So you haven't even been able to get all wheels off to verify all the Cressida stuff will work, right?
Well the fronts are now so I could but I'm going to trust. Honestly I have to at this point. It's my only out and I have the new Cressida stuff sitting here already. I have enough under stuff to do that I'm going to put up on the tires tomorrow to get more room. Then drop, then get wheels loose, then jack, then brakes then like kick total ass at the Challenge.

Before I planned on putting a Chevy head in my truck, I put Chevy parts in my engine.
Maybe thats why it broke. Infection set in from the inside...
Been soaking the rears each evening and whacking then with my sledge a few times. First whack and passenger rear came off. Hit the driver's rear and it clicked but not the same. One lug was a little tight so I loosened it and one more whack set it free.
Today's tool of choice.
It's good that you didn't need to resort to Shotgun.

I'm just glad they came loose. Not much I could have done with them on there.
Just got this text. Unfortunately I was not able to talk my cheap ass into new A7s. I'm dropping down to GTW but still going to kick some butt.
EDIT - Better picture

Some days you just spin your wheels. Started off with needing to open the driver's door. It has been backed into years back by a delivery driver which pushed the driver's fender onto the door. Loosened all the bolts and pried around to see where it needed to move. Came up with shimming it out. Used a twig. Free to budget.
I read that as 'Organic fiber rod in natural unfinished texture, cut to fit'
In reply to DjGreggieP :
I may use that in my concours presention. "Organic carbon fiber rod in natural unfinished texture, cut to fit"

How's the PU saw P Sunday?
In reply to 759NRNG :
Ok I'll admit that I'm two whiskeys in but I don't think I'll understand that in the morning either. I'll just assume you're asking me how much help I'll need a week from Friday. Answer is a lot. It's 11 days until Challenge. This is my off the top of my head list.
1) Get Suprang running more than 1/2 second.
2) Get clutch hydraulics working.
3) Get brakes braking.
5) Mount seat.
6) Mount seatbelt.
7) Firewall the rear seat.
4) Mount autocross and drag tires on their respective wheels.
8) Do the sticker things.
9) See if nitrous works. It'll be a miracle as everything else hasn't.
10) Have a beer and enjoy the hotel parking lot car show.

When you said that you were going to run on A7s, I just assumed that you were going to get a set with a couple of qualifying laps in trade for a used toothbrush.
Gumby destroyed my dreams and mentioned that if I'm GTW$ I couldn't use slicks in the drags. Going to think and decide what I'm going to do.
Dood. I always have 245 40 15 rs4 for you.
Want me to bring them to you on saturday?
In reply to wvumtnbkr :
Naw I decided to go new. They'll be my street tires after Challenge. It wasn't lost on me that I sold you a new set in the spring. Hindsight and all that.
In reply to Stampie :
That's a maul.
You mauled the Suprang.
Pretty sure my mailman hates Challenge time. He put them right in the way of the gate opening.

I am driving by on Saturday anyway. You want them for something else?
In reply to wvumtnbkr :
Naw I'm good. That size will only fit the Suprang. I'd ask you out to lunch but I'm gonna be slammed all day working on Suprang.

Imagine if that bot had gotten loose in the Amy thread.
Long day.
Started the day going to Alro metal. Grabbed a tube off their remnants for a harness bar and a sheet of 22 guage to firewall the rear seat area. Grabbed that today because I won't get another chance until next Friday.
Got home and got my first freak out of the day. I see four tires at the front door. Oh cool tires are here early so I can get them mounted! Then notice two have a different thread pattern.
I'm getting my phone out to call tire rack when I notice two more tires closer to the door. I have my four RS4s. Guess FedEx dude just assumed all 6 tires on his truck were going to the same place. I contact the guy that ordered the other two and dropped them off this evening on the way to the grocery store.
Grabbed my tires and threw them in the Suburban. Then thought hey I haven't checked wheel fitment. It's tight. I don't think you could go over a 15x9 0 offset wheel on Suprang.
Ran them down to my shop to get them mounted. They're still getting used to me but I think the relationship will work out.
Came home and started working on the clutch slave and master cylinders. Slave comes out without much work but the pin on the master kicks my behind. Getting frustrated I decide to eat lunch right as the shop calls to let me know the tires are mounted.
Grab the tires and eat lunch.
Go back out and pin still doesn't want to come out. Say berk it and start on the front brakes. This is when I get my second scare I start grabbing brake parts and open a rockauto box to see only one rotor. Look at the packing slip and it says that another rotor shipped from a different warehouse. First thought was E36 M3 I only ordered one front rotor and one rear. Notice that the part numbers are the same. Quickly confirm I got two fronts from rockauto and two rears from AutoZone
Things go pretty smooth after that until I get to the bolts holding the caliper in. The Suprang bolts won't thread into the new Cressida calipers. Lucky for me I grabbed the junkyard Cressida calipers along with it's bolts. Grab the bolts and everything is good.
Repeat on the passenger side and get sidetracked at advance auto after realizing I don't have lug nuts that'll work with the new to me rims. They don't have anything that'll work so I remember having some in my Miata glove box that I can't remember where they came from. They're the right thread and spline drive. I don't have the key for them. Advance auto does so $20 later I mount a wheel and I'm digging how the white wheel ties into the white rockers.
Oh the drag wheels came in. Yeah the ones I ordered before deciding not to run slicks. Anyone need 16x8s 0 offset brand new in the box? 4x100 and 4x114. Only one opened for the picture.
