Trying to help my dad sell a project which probably won't get completed without a "new owner". Its a 1931 Ford AA which a "dual rear" set up. Cab it solid. Fenders are solid, but have some metal damage that will need to be straightened out. Very little rust. Interior is partially complete. Last ran about 1 year ago. I have no doubt it will start and run, but we will likely be emptying and cleaning the tank before starting it just as a precaution. We could certainly have it running within a day if need be. I'm not a noob, so I know this isn't necessarily most of your "cup of tea", but I'd welcome referrals to anyone you know who might be interested.
The link is a book 'o face album with several pics. Working on something with easier access.

So much want, so little money. Very cool little project. At the risk of getting into trouble do you have a ballpark price in mind?

Hosted a few of the pics on my site so they can be posted here for you
Oh man... That thing reeks of cool!
The price is a bit of a question mark. I'm floating it out there right now at $7K, but that's very much an OBO price because I just don't know where to price it. I've listed it in a few other places and been told I'm "in the ballpark" with the price, but I guess in the end analysis, its worth what someone will pay for it. At this point, all offers are being considered.
JTHw8 - Thanks so much for hosting the pics. You the man!!
Spinout - you think it looks cool now, you should see it with the dual wheels on the back.

Oh man...
Not a cup of tea but a dually truck load of tea!
Why is it I hear the theme song to the Walton's playing?

I'd say 7k is in the right ballpark but I dont know the market on these either. Feel free to use the hotlinks to those photos wherever you need, if I get time tonight I'll pop the other ones out there for you too.

Old E36 M3 is my cup of tea, but I'd want a regular A truck or vert personally.
The AA is cool as heck though.
That's awesome. I'd love to drive that the 7 miles back and forth to work.
Bump for a price drop - 6K OBO.
Another price drop - 5.5K OBO
I love those trucks but I hope you sell it before the price drops to what I can afford.
I keep looking at it. Not sure if I wish I had the funds or if I'm glad I don't
Still available. Going to float a really stupid idea out there for those without funds. I'm currently looking for a car for my son. I'm looking for something that has a decent autocross application and is a reliable/low maintenance daily driver. (Something like an STS Civic, perhaps) Would have to be relatively equivalent in value. It works like this - we essentially trade what you have for the truck, and I pay off my dad. Propose your crazy schemes here:
Probably the last bump. It goes with a regional Model A meet on September 19 with no intentions of bringing it back.

hmm, the Lot Lizard would not be a good DD but loads of fun at the autocross ;)
Still for sale, let's say $4700 OBO.

I might even be able to negotiate a slight "GRM discount" with my pops. You know you want this.
I've tried twice to talk my dad into it.

Want yes. Price is fair. No debate. Waiting on pending sale of Lot Lizard so we can buy food (only slightly exaggerating) and wife to have a minor stroke so I can blame the fact that she doesn't know where this truck came from on something other than me ;)
Seriously...someone really should jump on this, Im just afraid of what I'd do to it if left to my own devices.
Stop tempting me. Stop tempting me!
Probably the last bump/price update before it gets thrown to the jackals on Craigslist: $4,500 OBO.
I don't know much about AA's but that's a seriously weird rear spring setup.
