Its quite interesting, the rear eye of the spring attaches to the axle so its kinda acting like a 4 link with the spring as the upper link.

And sold as of 10/27/15. Final price for the curious - $4700. Apparently, it's headed to Russia to a military museum.
Cool. It'd be sweet if they'd fly you over to see it once it's on display
