Maybe it's just me, but I get annoyed when people put pictures in an ad of what their car could possibly look like after the addition of a metric CrapTon of time and money.
I like that the asking price is $3500 OBO, but then in the next sentence he talks himself down to $3000. Seems like he is at least trying to move the car on to a new owner.

FYI, I visited the Turner again last week...
I want one of these just so when people ask me what kind if car I have I can tell them, "I drive a Jamaican"
In reply to Woody:
I looked on their website a week or two ago and didn't see it so I thought it was sold.
Ummm, as someone who owns a couple, first, the '58 is a bit of a sacred cow. This should only be done to a later sprite. Second, who is ever going to fit in that? Third, with a flimsy chassis, isn't anyone concerned about big hp and torque? Just sayin'
Mark, Don't think its Sprite based, the front arches look like they're off of a Big Healey. The Jamaican body is a bit too bit to fit to a Frogeye chassis/body unit.
Rod
You may be right. Still looks like a sprite front end to me but with the inner fenders modified. Even a "big" healey is a small beast. Can't imagine trying to fit in that thing. It'd make a vintage lotus or 356 cockpit seem roomy.
