Think it can be saved?
I saw this last week and was somehow able to very conveniently forget about it.
This seems like slightly less of a bad idea than most of my other great ideas.
I'm really glad that's FAR away, I don't need to drag home more vintage British tin.
You should 100% go for it Woody (or anyone else local-ish)

Ellington is a pretty long ride from here, and the traffic between here and there would be a PITA with a trailer. I just don't want this one badly enough.
I could see a Cobra-ish restomod happening here though.

Ive been on the hunt for an MGA, but I'm not really looking for a project this big.

Like :big" healeys, these have a million places to rust. Could be an awesome project or a massive money pit. Have to see in person. Definitely one of the better looking British sportscars
A younger me would be tempted by that.

Since MGAs have a separate chassis, I wonder how well the body could be swapped onto an extended Miata chassis? Paging nohome !
Same wheelbase as a Locost. The seats are a bit forward, but......
My '58 Coupe and a '58 Roadster both looked about like that when I got them. A lot of the missing parts are expensive - the grille, for example, but there's easily $1500 in parts there. It's pretty easy to spend $25K+ on an MGA and end up with a $15K car, but a donor MGB could get this up and running.
