I have a book on Elvas, but I don't think I even knew that they made a coupe. It's not pretty from every angle.

This car tempts me.

That greenhouse is, uh, challenged. Very awkward.

I'd like to know whether this is one of the early ones with the body bonded to the frame or if it's bolted on.

Yeah, wow, not sure I have ever seen a Courier coupe–at least not in the flesh.

I think, likely, it's titled as a 62, but is an earlier car. The guy is the original owner. Not a pretty car, but it may be about the only car of this size and era us tall guys can actually fit into.  FWIW, it's chassis 142

This car tempts me.

This could be read as "it's unattractive from all angles (as in each and every angle)" or "it's pretty from most angles with an exception or two" I feel like we need an Oxford comma or something to sort this out, but that's out of my pay grade.

Cool car , I like the front and rear , the large door glass puts me off ,

But it is a car that you will probably not see parked next to you at a car show :)

That thing has sat in the dirt long enough to have a sizable percentage of the iron content revert to its origin.

As rusty as that thing is I bet it's not bonded anymore.

Straight out of the Incredibles! Such an oddly proportioned car as a coupe.

It appears the door line has been modified. The factory shape looks way less cartoony

The asking price seems reasonable... but that's going to be a ton of work.   However, you are certainly unlikely to ever see another one at the local LBC meet.  Other than at vintage races, I've only ever seen one Elva Courier (roadster) ever - the owner used to show up at Carlisle every year. The car was well loved...

Think of it...this is a 1 owner car

 That's 62 years!
