1965 p1800 - $800

Seems like a steal based on the condition this looks to be in. 

I saw one of these for sale on the side of the road a few months back, had no idea what it was.  I was thinking Opel or Fiat.  Now I know, lol.

I always imagined getting a shell like this and putting a more modern engine in it--like maybe a newer 4 or 5 cylinder from Volvo for this P1800.

Just a thought because I know next to nothing when it comes to engine swaps.

The newer 5 cylinders from Volvo are massive. I like the one posted recently with an ecoboost swap.

I have a 12a rotary and trans waiting for a 122 coupe one day, but an 1800 would be pretty neat as well

Same cars under the skin.

I love these cars, but I actually think it looks a little better with the nose punched in. Maybe this would be a good excuse for a competent body man to flip the grill over like they should have done in the first place.
