1972 Zamboni, as is. Great for outdoor backyard hockey rink. Ran when parked 5+ years ago. Firm at $1000.

My brother took a night job as the manager of an ice skating facility several years ago solely so that he could drive the Zamboni. He's weirder than I am.

There's gotta be some kind of Radwood-esque event that welcomes Zambonis.
And if there isn't an event like that, there ought to be one.
We went to a hockey game last week - yes, there's a hockey team in Biloxi, MS...and yes, they suck as badly as you'd expect.
But the Zamboni drive does a very slight/controlled drift at the end of each pass, so now of course I'm slightly envious of his gig.
I've told the management of our rink that a charity auction for a Zamboni driving lesson would be an excellent fundraiser. I think they have three, which also sounds like a spec series.
BTW, the Zamboni website is excellent. Great history of the machines and it's always fun to see specialty equipment.

Into the rabbit hole we go...

And moments later, I find that this is specifically addressed on Zamboni's excellent website.

Have you ever been to a pro hockey game and NOT seen some little kid or a cute girl riding on the Zamboni?

Add a sidecar, problem solved. Works for motorcycles...
Unrelated: I grew up in Connecticut, watching the Whalers suck year after year. Post-game Zamboni racing would have made my hockey watching a lot less depressing.
Dredged this up from the depths of my brain:

Why are there so few hockey themed rock bands anyway?
There's also a 1995 scoreboard with proper lights for sale in Arnprior. 8'x3', perfect for whatever this Zamboni will be doing. Current bid is $120 Cdn, about $1.50 US.

Now I want to build a scoreboard to put up in my shop.
